Genvibe, I need your help. I have been agonizing over finding a nickname for my Vibe. Right now I call it "Da Vibe" but I am not happy with that. Please give me some suggestions. I have always had a nickname for my car--my first car was an 84 cavalier convertible and I called it Barbie. My last car was a 98 cavalier and it was the Happy Meal. Now I need a cute name for my Salsa Vibe....Help!!!!Any help would be greatly appreciated....

How 'bout Hot Tomali? Or Jalapeno? Salsa makes me think Hot and Spicy.

A vibration causes noise. Different vibrations (of different frequency) make different noises, or potentially the notes of any musical scale. Put the right Vibes in order, and you can create a melody. Add a little more effort and you can have Harmony. Maybe just a simple Tune, Song, etc. So I call my Vibe "Melody". Feel free to steal that name, or pick any other name related to music or noise making in general.Hope that helps.KSNeptune

I can't think of too many nickname's for that color. The one that comes to mind to me is something like "Habby", pronounced Hobby, short for Habanero.Something that means hot would definately be cool for your color. I nicknamed mine "Triton" for the largest moon that orbits the planet Neptune (color of my Vibe also). Triton is unique for its retrograde orbit (opposite to the rotatiion of the planet). Kind of like my Vibe. A unique car and individual who drives it.Anyways, that is my two cents on what you should nickname your car. Sorry if I got a little side tracked!

Mine is named Sputnik because its Satellite silver.

Me and my wife came up with 'Abby' of course because it is abyss.

How about BUZZ? Get it, Vibe = Buzz.

Trust me having a car named Ted is great it just comes naturally. Like the other morning I told my wife, "oh its pretty cold out there today Ted really didn't want to start up."

My husband came up with Lucy because it's red (like Lucille Ball) but I am not sure if I like it. I am also considering Sunny because I love Sunshines and the sun is hot....I still don't know. Maybe I'll just call it Shenandoah. I have no idea....Ted is sounding good right now...

Ted is the only way to go.

My boyfriend calls the Vibe "the hotrod"...

Mine's Emily. Not sure why. I just saw the car and it spoke "Emily" to me. So Emily she is! My Sunfire was Melissa. Never managed to make names for my Bonneville or Grand Am. *shrug*

If it often takes you home, call it "James". Then you can get in and just say "Home, James!".KSNeptune

I told my husband, Brian, that I should name the car "Brian" because I am never mad at my car and it might cut him some slack.....he didn't think it was funny....wonder why????
