Ad on TV last night in Columbus, OH mentioned a $1,000 rebate and a $1,000 additional rebate fro owners of non-GM vehicles. Also got a card from dealer offering $1,000 over NADA for my 2003 Vibe trade. Is this all for real? [I also have a Chrysler T&C that woudl qualify me for the non-GM owner rebate].

I received email from local dealer on Tues stating their price on 2006 Vibe GT with preferred package and sun roof, MSRP 22,075, then after 500.00 rebate, their internet price and 1000.00 rebate for owners of non-GM vehicles, 19,139.26. Think thtat is good price since invoice on that is around 20,500. But of course I got the email one day after I pick up my 2006 Vibe base from different dealer.

I just bought a Vibe two weeks ago. I bought a base Vibe neptune Blue with power package. I traded a Mitsu Endeavor . I got the 1000 for non -gm 500 for the rebate plus they said that there was also a new 500 dollar incentive that I qualified for. Total 2k off.

I was out looking at cars today and a salesman asked me what sort of rebates Pontiac currently had on the Vibe, acting like it was going to make a difference in MY situation... Sure buddy, the current rebates on the 2006 models make all the difference on what my 2003 with close to 74K on it is worth... or something... Yeah, I won't be trading there. I can't anyway, sight unseen and only words spoken about the Vibe were the year and mileage, and the guy still hinted around that they wouldn't take it in on trade-in. Guess he didn't want a sale that bad eh?

I never made the connection! You think that's what happened? lol!I don't think he had anything against my Vibe, just against trade-in's in general. This same bozo told me he wouldn't take a car I tried to trade in some 7 years ago. Luckily he didn't remember me... (removed)!
