For me,it's the one of the greatest utility.U3 smart drive allow you to put your computer configuration in a U3 smart drive,then with this you plug in any public computer (without to reboot) and you can work exactly if was you personal computer.Every programs,bookmarks,,,,,you have in you configuration you can use in other computer.If you visit some webside or bookmark,...all it's goe's in your smart drive and no in the public computer.It's like having a Laptop.Here the link http://www.u3.com/ And the price it's almost the same as a normal smart drive.

i have portable Firefox and Thunderbird on my USB drive.http://portableapps.com/apps/i...refoxh ... ...rbirdit allows me to surf and check email while on any computer and from what i know, all files for both programs (email attachments, favourites, cookies, etc.) go on the USB drive.i also recommend portable GIMP (i also use the full desktop version and it's great)http://portableapps.com/apps/p..._gimp
