ok so my brother gave me some blue headlight strobes from advance auto parts... and i was wondering about the wiring... switch... how....suggestions?

drill hole on back side of headlight. (make sure you have a way of water proofing that hole) run your positive to the battery. then run your ground thru the firewall. placed your switch somewhere convinient on the dash. then find chassis ground near by. there, simple and dirty. lol

Pretty much! I'm guessing you just have simple power connections for that, so i'll agree!My streetglows were a lot more annoying since I have a controller for 'em.

Depends on where the switch is. You can either switch +12v or ground. Reccomended is wire the positive (+12v) straight to the battery (with a fuse in-line), then run the ground wire for the strobes through the firewall to the switch inside. If the switch is a 'lighted' switch, then you can connect to 12v behind the radio just so it'll light up when you turn it on.Though, any chance you can post up the wiring diagram / instructions just to make sure it isn't a 12v switch? Sometimes with those lit switches they only switch 12v and not ground.

i dont have a stitch right now, i kinda want the switch by the glass button/coin holder, in the drivers side... i dont really want a lighted switch. So what kind of fuse do i get??? how much ?? whats the firewall...I want something like this ( switch )http://www.partsamerica.com/Pr...12105 or http://www.partsamerica.com/Pr...40291whic is easier to wire.. etc 2 prong or the 3 prong one???any suggestions

i just bought a switch and it has 12V and Accesory.... so i would wire 12v to it then right... where would i put the inline fuse??

How many connectors does the switch have? Two or three? If two, then it's pretty simple, just an input and an output. You can choose if you want it to be always on (12v) or on with ACC.If three, then we need more info on the switch to be sure.The fuse should go as close to your power source as possible.

its a 2 prong... i got all the wiring & stuff.. heres. a lil diagram.. tell me whats the fastest easiest way..... thanks ----PF

Probably safer to flip it around. If the strobe module is going to be under the hood, connect the (+), through a fuse, straight to the battery. Then run the ground wire through the firewall to wherever you want your switch, connect that wire to one prong on the switch, and the other prong just 'ground out' by either finding an existing ground point, or just create a new ground point by screwing into metal in the car and wiring to that.The only reason you wouldn't do that is if you wanted to make sure the strobes wouldn't be on with the car off.Alternatively you can wire the side of the switch going to ground of the car to the parking brake wire, so you can only turn on the strobes when parked.

you'll need 2 strobe kits in your headlights instead of one because of the size and shape of the vibes headlights. One lights up but not near as well as it should.
