When I went in today to get my radio setup, the guy told me that it was not possible. I wish I could have shown him this, and his lip would have hit the floor. Now I have to find someone else to do the install for me. I will never get this DVD and Screen put in.

And the units that I have are much smaller than a regular head unit. Only 2 inches on the DVD in H" and 3 on the in dash screen. I will have to break down and do it myself I guess...

The MEtra kit come wiht different face to put either 1 or 2 heaud unit. Most of the time, people do not install 2 heat unit but 1 radio unit and 1 equilazer. But it can be possible to run 2 head units in parrallele, but 1 at the time.

I've been pondering this mod for a while - did you just get a really good deal on the stuff? There are combo units out there that have the screen and a DVD player in a single DIN chassis (Panasonic, Clarion, etc...). You didn't get the Alpine system, did you - I think those are specifically designed to fit together into a double-DIN space like the Vibe's?

The links you posted were just to the main pages - I was actually thinking some place like Crutchfield, but the links you had seemed to be a lot cheaper. I like this one because it's a complete package. I think you might run into trouble intergrating components if they both want to be the main head unit and cannot communicate with each other :
http://theauto.zoovy.com/product/LMPKG1 This would definitely be cool, some of the newer mobile DVD players have a 5.1 decoder and a line out for the sub (Panasonic). This has me thinking it might actually be worth hiding all the modules away and just have the motorized LCD in the dash. That way there's room for a small, low profile center channel speaker in the dash right below it (I think Clarion makes one).

Yeah, I like that site too, but I can never get them on the phone. I want to get something from them, but I just can never get them on the phone. The others are easy, and friendly when you call. But I plan on keeping the factory deck, and putting the DVD under the seat. Everywhere I went to, they said they could not do two decks in that area. So I will just do that instead....
