Yesterday I removed and replaced my fake Tein S-Techs with real ones from neverenough.com. Before I did, I measured the ride height on all 4 wheels. They height was different from LF-RF and LR-RR. Also when I removed the front springs there was wear marks and rust where the top 2 coils were rubbing together. Not a good thing. Obviously the spring rates were wrong and the springs were compressing enough for the top 2 coils to rub together. I feel much safer having the REAL springs installed. While I had all the plastic compartments removed to install the rear springs, I packed every space underneath with sound insulation. What a difference in noise levels. I drive a lot of dirt roads and now I can't even hear sand and rocks being kicked up under the car. It's great. Also highway driving especially in the rain is much quieter.

sorry you had to go through all that trouble.But glad you got the real ones. good job quiting the road noise... its always a pain to hit spots where the road noise is annoying

thats good to here. glad you were able to repalce them with the real ones i got kind of worried that i got the fake ones but i doubled check them and with another viber who got them from ebay and i was good to go. (no pun intended if youve seen the taco bell comecial with the cruch wrap supreme )

The handling is fantastic now compared to the fakes. I noticed something was wrong even before I knew I had couterfeits. The car was unstable on bumpy corners. Now it feels like I remember my '04 did with Teins. I'm still waiting for my Progress rear sway bar, it's been over a month. Neverenough is waiting for a shipment from Progress.
