Oil prices hit a record 75.17$ a barrel today....so all i can say is it is a stinkin messy with no real reason(other than pure profit) to have it skyrocket like that........i can see alot off ppl losin there jobs because of this .i really dont know how the governments of Canada and the US expect ppl to be able to live with the cost of living so high....gas is 117.9 right now...but by the end of the weekend it will be well over 120 a litre ..heating oil.electicity and anything else they wanna throw at us because of oil prices.will go through the roof.all i can say is how do we make it when over 50% of our pays goes to the oil companies......

on the news last night it said Exxon will probably post a PROFIT of $41 Billion and the next 2 oil companies will make around $20 Billion in profit each. they clearly stated that this would be profit not revenue. I want to be a capitalist when i grow up...

Last year I think the most I paid was 1.37$ per liter for 87 octane!I agree our governments need to step in and do something because the last time I checked my salary did not jump that way!

I wonder how much profit they made in '98 when oil was $9 and people for sure lost jobs. A lot of that $75 is due to panic driven hysteria from a handfull of idiots on Wall Street.
