Has anyone had issues with getting there spoilers a diffrent color than the Abyss, Salsa, or Silver?Do the spoilers that come in black, red, and silver last longer than the primed ones? How is the mid and upper sopiler attached to the body? The dealer that i am possibly getting my vibe from is supper-small and i am wondering if i get a perfect vibe from them (neptune) and ask them to add the painted neptune spoilers, i fear that the paint will be done poorly and fassened to the body poorly And then i will have to wait to order a new one.

i cant help with the paint issue. but i install my spoilers myself. and you have to drill holes into the top of the hatch and middle of the hatch then it screws on. the most important part is correct measurements.measure, measure, measure.if its a really small dealer they might send it out to where they do there collision fix work.there they should do a relatively decent paint job, i would hope.

I have a neptune colour vibe and I was thinking on going with the abyss colour spoiler as well. I have seen neptune one with the spoiler painted and my preference would be get it in an abyss. Seeing as the roof rack is black and the trim around the windows is black I think it would look just as good. Plus its already painted. Bonus.

I bought an abyss mid and upper spoiler and had them painted Neptune. I kept the upper and sold the mid..I had it installed by the same place that painted it and they did put a sealant on it aroung the holes. No leaks here.Mine cost $125 to have them both painted and the upper one installed.

so is it better to do it like that? get a black one and paint it? or get a blank one and paint it?

I would get a blank one and paint it. If it came in white or silver or something light I would say go for it, but black is somewhat difficult to paint over because it is so dark. Unless they strip all the paint off of a black spoiler, and dependingon how lazy they are the ble may turn out darker than the rest of the car. Primed would be better then black I would say

i would think they normally come primed and you paint it to color. i just got a great deal on my mid-lip spoiler. primed. its starting to get warmer now, so i'll have it painted and mounted within the next month or somerz, that hood freakin rocks. nice signature pic

the primered ones come in black gelcoat, so regardless of what colour you'll end up with, you're starting with black.

You know, instead of having them the same color...what about silver on a Neptune vibe? I was thinkin about getting the factory sport package in silver and leaving it that color. Could givbe some contrast to the blue

Hmmm...I gues as long as you stick with a color scheme that doesn't involve a ton of otehr colors it should look good!
