I own a base 05 matrix with these mods : borla exhaust, aem cai, aem pulley, eibach springs. I want to straight pipe it and remove all catalytic converters to have the loudest sound possible. Can anyone help me out as to how i would go about doing this?..pictures would be great

You'll need a custom built pipe that will replace the existing one. which looks like thisand you'll also need some sort of thing that will trick the computer into thinking there is a functional second O2 sensor, or else you'll have a permanent CEL.Glad you live far away from me.

You said Borla exhaust but I don't know if it's axelback or what, but I cut my resonator out and have a cat-back straight 2.5" pipe with a Flowmaster muffler, but it sounds really tinny now, and I would think if you remove the cats it's going to get even worse.

You do know ontario cops... and definatly toronto ones will pull you over for noise and the smell of unburnt gas coming from your exhaust. They will perform and exhaust output carbon test and write you up a nice thick fine. Plus you will fail your emissions test.Just a heads up.

Either way, since I removed my resonator a few days back I now have a strong tinny sound in the exhaust that I really didn't want. When I can afford it and if they make it for the 1zz, I would like to get a Blitz exhaust system. I heard it on a XRS and it was awesome!

Cut out and straight pipe the resonator and get high flow cats. IMO...

Sure, they CALL it a cat-back, but unless it replaces the resonator, it's still an axelback. A resonoator is the big tube/bulge after the two cats, as illustrated so nicely by joatmon:
