Hi all,I'm thinking of replacing my OEM speaker, CHEAP, CHEAP CRAP, by something more decent.I'm not sure which on to put in with the OEM base sound system.I just seen some KICKER 6.2 component speakers, would they work with it or not.If not, what do I need to look for.thanks

Components on the stock radio is a bit of a stretch. Components need more amplification due to the crossovers involved. The Infinity Reference series or Polk coaxials are decent if you don't feel like adding an amp.

I just put MB QUART DKE116 6.5 6 1/2 2 WAY co-ax speakers and they are great. They are 2.42" deep and fit the front. doors no problems. I think the max depth on the front door is 2.5" so be careful of what you buy. 80 bucks a pair U.S.D on Ebay. Next time I wouldn't swap the rears only the front.http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAP...&rd=1A
