Hatch Window Tint Question

I've had my windows tinted for about 2 weeks now and it's starting to dry real good. I noticed that on my hatch glass that they used two pieces of film to cover the whole thing. there's a big piece to cover the main area and then they kindof spliced it to get the tricky parts around the bottom. I'm going to talk to them at lunch one day this week. I was just wondering could it be done with one piece of film or were they just cutting corners? Thanks

Can be done with ONE piece... they will have to cut around the hatch supports, but it can be done. Mine is all one big piece and if they do it right, you won't even be able to tell where they cut it to go around the hatch supports. They did tell me that it was the hardest piece to put on though.

I just got done talking to them. It's a graphics shop that just started tinting. They're going to re-do one of my windows and she said they could take a heat gun and smooth the seam out on the hatch. You can't see it from the outside so it really doesn't bother me, if they can get rid of the bubble.

Mine was one piece. They took the struts, wiper motor, and brake light shade off.
