I despise my dealer

Took my 06 Abyss to the the dealer yesterday, cause they said they were ready to put my spoilers on. They told me it would be done before I had to go to work at 3pm CST. Took it in at 830am, called at 1pm and my dealer, Reagan Pontiac, told me it wasn't even in the shop yet, because "we had a bunch of new cars come in that needed detailed." Well that sounded like a line of BS. So, I put Pontiac Customer Service to work. I talked with Ryan Keene, who has been very helpful with me in dealing with my spoiler issues I have been having with Reagan Pontiac. When he called me back, he told me that Reagan Pontiac told him that they didn't even have the spoilers in yet!!So, now I am driving around in the, tub of a grandma's car, Buick LeSabre. And it doesn't look like I am going to get my Vibe back until today or tomorrow, maybe, sometime...perhaps.Is Pontiac always this crappy with their "service-after-the-sale?" Or is this just an isolated incident with Reagan Pontiac in Omaha, NE on 148th and Center? I really like the ride, but I really despise the Reagan Pontiac dealership.Did I mention I bought my Abyss at Reagan Pontiac in Omaha on 148th and Center?

If the service sucks, try another dealer. Just because you bought it there doesn't mean you have to get it serviced there.

its not just you... my fiance got hers and immediately after we drove it off it had a slight drift to it on the road... we called them and it was fine and then we get there and they just brush you off.

I went to krenzen here in duluth and they were SUPER helpful. Fixed all the stuff I asked to get fixed. Even had a person that would drop me off and pick me up at work while the car was in the shop.

I have no intention of taking it back, not even to get my picture taken with it.

Next time you buy a new car bring a contract with you that states the dealer will provide a loaner car if yours is taking greater than 2 hours to fix. You would be surprized at how organized they will be just to keep from having to give you a car to drive. I once took a loaner on vacation (3300 miles) because an Oldsmobile dealer couldn't have my car done in time. The contract is pretty easy to get them to agree to if you bring it up before any other negotations, and don't let them sell you a maintenance contract instead. When they start peddling a maint contract I tell them I do not want to purchase a vehicle that THEY think is going to break down.

When shopping for my new Neptune 06 GT, I first went to the Buick/Pontiac dealer in Long Beach, CA on Cherry Street. They didn't have what I was looking for, but they located a car in San Diego that was fully loaded and the color I wanted. They called the dealer and apparently the dealership in Miramar was going out of business and they couldn't release the car. Then they started to push (hard) to sell me an 05 that was more expensive than the O6's they had. That and other Vibes they had on their lot.... NOT INTERESTEDSo I started to called around to other dealers in the LA area. Finally got hooked up with Simpson Buick in Buena Park. They got me the same damn car the other dealership said that Miramar wouldn't release. Only problem was that when it showed up... it was two tone and was missing some of the dealer installs that were supposed to come with it. The dealer said that we would have to pay anything over $400 to paint and that the parts would be shipped ASAP. Well, it went out to paint, they paid for the rental, and I assume the bill for the paint was less than $400 because when the bill came up for the paint $0.0000000. I am still waiting for a couple of dealer installs, btu for the most part, it was a good experience. The sales guy I worked with and his team seem to be all over it.
