ok so i heard form someone that you can buy the cladding form gm? If hat id true, do you know where to buy it. i have a two tone, ad i wanto make ita monotone.. plz help me . -- patrick

mine was a 2 tone, i painted it, cladding is available through any gm dealer, but hold on to your shorts, they run around $100 per piece. i had to primer mine several times to get rid to the texture, plus had to replace most to the clips, next to impossible to remove with out breaking clips. gm wanted around $3 a piece for the clips. $$$$$$$$$$$, so not sure if this helps or not but that is what i know

have you ever seen a monotone stock? the cladding is just like the two tone but painted a couple coats. theres still that texture, so 1badvibe yours is unique!! i bet it looks better if its all smooth

That is true... i never noticed it tell yesterday... and the paint job sucks there... my sills are chippin a lil from where your foot hits the corner when you get out... it looks ugly.I wanna get that touch up paint to try and hide it a lil.good luck

ok,so if i painted it, i would prime it first, then the paint, would i cear coat it?.... what kind of paint, an how do you remove the cladding? should i just take it somehwere???
