They don't sell painted clading. Only gray. To have just the clading painted will cost you between $1100 and $1400. This is what I'm trying to do if my tax return is enough.

the kit only comes with bumper extensions, and rocker moldings, and gm is really proud of it $$$$$$$! then you would have a tu tone sandwich

The cost is mostly for the labor. The paint is only a couple hundred at the most. It's a lot of parts to remove, prep, paint, and reinstall.1badvibe, That's a kick azzed paint job! Reminds me of this one...

If I do get the whole car painted I was thinking of making the car two- tone from the windows up. Like they do on Overhauled. But for now I really just want one solid color (except for the new hood).

Do you remember how to take the fender flares and door molding off?I can save a lot of money if I can take off and put back on the parts myself.

Again, if that's what turns you on, it's your choice. Just have trouble understanding it. What turns me on is not having any debt and some $$ in the bank. Others do not understand that!

they come off fairly easy, the probelm is that you will break 90 % of the clips, and the clips aren't cheap through gm. i was able to find some aftermarket clips, but they don't hold near as good as oem.
