My Cat Thinks He's a Baby...

My cat Andy LOVES water--he drinks out of the sink any time I will let him, and if he can't do that, he'll use the toilet, the shower, what ever. The other night my boyfriend had a bottle of water and Andy was on his lap trying to pull the bottle away, so Jim poked a tiny hole in the lid and we squeezed it out drop by drop. Andy sat there licking away, so I put him in my lap upside down like a baby--he squirmed at first but once he realized there was water coming out he laid there for probably ten minutes just licking the water as I squeezed it out. We were crying we were laughing so hard, so Jim pulled out his video phone and caught a little of it--not the best quality since it was a cell phone but I just had to share!

That's priceless! He does look just like a baby.Just in case anyone has a hard time opening the file, Apple Quicktime works really well.

Very cute! My cats are both big babies!! I often have Yoda sitting in my lap like one.

Yes they DO! He's the best. I was doing it again the other night while I was in the GenVibe chat room, actually. I put him in my lap and he squirmed for a minute, then I grabbed the water bottle and he actually put his paws around it and pulled it to him. He laid there and drank with his little paws around the bottle, and when my arm got tired and I tried to pull away, he pulled it back close to himself and kept drinking. It was the funniest thing! Think I could win $10,000 on Funniest Home Videos?
