Replacing antenna with Beamer looking one

Hi all, Just to let you know that I'm working on the project of creating (almost finished) a new antenna that would look like a Beamer one.I was wanting one that could completely replace the factory one. One that would mountover the original one.Here are a few picture of my first take, tryed it yesterday, and as the short antenna, I'm losing all the weak signals. Overhere, in Laval, a weak one to try it is 99.9 the Buzz. It's still comming in but not that great. Exactly as a short one is doing.The way to mount it, is that I tape it with double sided taped and then I screw it in the place of the antenna. I should have a few picture of it mounted this week-end as we have a meet in Montreal.Here's a taste of what it looks like.Side viewback viewunder view
