alright, after much hassle, work, money, and blowing fuses, it seems to be installed, running and working! i even tested it today at wal-mart to see if the PC remained booted while turning the ignition over. it didn't restart like it always had before. this is good news! i'll keep playing around with it to make sure it's all working properly, however, the electrical mess.... well i know it won't be covered under warranty by any means! lolhere's some pics working on the wiring and LCD screen. That probably was the biggest problem for sure. installed and runningipod cradle mounted on top. still have to do something with those wires. lights on the bottom of the screen and the power button turn the PC on or off, green light indicates it's on and orange shows data is processingmini trackball mouse via USB. easier to deal with than the previous gyration mouse (motion sensored) and waving it in the air as people look at you like a crazy personcenter console holds a 100 watt inverter with USB power, USB port that also powers the secondary USB hub in the glove compartment, and the remotes to the DVD player and LCD screen are velcro'd to the inner lid of the consoleglove compartment holds the AV selector for the Ipod, PC, and DVD, and up to 2 more itemsthe PC mounted to the center pass through to the trunk

i have a xenarc 700TR. i don't think i'd recommend that unit. there is another guy on the legacygt forums that is working on a bolt in mount for the screen using the factory Nav bezel. it will be a direct fit for my current screen and since i've chopped up the OEM bezel to hell, depending on cost, i may go that route. the glare from the sun makes it very difficult to see the screen since i'm so short (at the current angle).ya, i ditched the laptop idea awhile ago. just wasn't working to have to drag it in and out of the car...

nice find. i did try using one of those awhile ago, but it was too much power for the battery since i wanted it powered without the car running. so far, so good, i've left the PC on for about 4 hrs while the car was off, no problems and car started right up. good 'ol optima red top!

And I thought I had a lot of extra wires when I installed my new CD player in my Neon. Looks good.
