I am looking at buying a CAMCON for my GT with the VVTL-I just wondering if you can change the A/F Ratio to run the same from 1000RPM to 8500RPM and can you change when the valve timming kicks in ie changing it from the stock 6000RPM to say 1000RPM to get more HP. IF you can help me that would be great.

So what is the point of the camcon then if you can not chage the lift point. how are you suposed to gain power out of it then? So what is the purpose of it.

The camcon only changes the intake cam degree range to let more air into each cylinder. Then it also can increase the fuel to allow for more power and hp.

I've driven around with VVTl-i "always on" and I definitely lost power. The engine would sputter along until I reached about 5000rpm. It wouldn't even idle without me holding the gas above 3000rpm.And the Camcon cannot change lift engagement. I was able to custom dyno tune my a/f and timing to get 188whp with it though.
