I know there is other topic about it, but I need something specific. If you could choose between Llumar film and Sun-Gard, what would you choose ? I can't find a lot of info about those too. The shop that install Sun-Gard is a lot cheaper. So, what is the difference ? What is the best ?

Well, the Sun-Gard is life warranty too... The think is, I can get a tint for 200$CA+tx with the Sun-Gard or a 245$CA+tx for the Llumar at a other shop (Lebeau)

I only paid $175 to have mine done. Guaranteed for life not to split, crack, bubble, etc. Received quotes for other places that were as high as $325 but my father knew the guy so he gave me a good deal.

Will using the rear defroster make the tint bubble???

I have not had any problems in previous cars with the rear defroster. I had my last car for 7 years and the tint never bubbled. I have seen other cars that have had problems. I guess it depends on the quality of the tint and the installation.

Silverawd - maybe a few of us could get together and do a group buy on window tint or something...I know the tint shop around where I live quoted me a price of $200 the week after I got the car in October. By December, the price had climbed to $250 at the same shop. Both prices were at the same shop for the same film and with a lifetime warranty. I figure it's winter rates - there's probably more clean up and stuff this time of year - especially if it's a small shop and space is limited. A friend of mine had two cars done at the same time for $150 each (in October).
