Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I've searched for a while and seem to get conflicting info...So - since wifeHawk's '04 Vibe has the M&T with the 6-Disc in dash, am I right in saying that there is no way to hook up an iPod without some fancy soldering or a hard-wired FM Modulator?(i.e. Manhattan isn't the place for a little wireless transmitter.. too many stations on the spectrum)Is the Aux selection then just a red-herring? or does it do something with some accessory that I am unaware of?I just spent a few hours wiring in an iCruze, thinking that it should show as the Aux, but no go... and the more I think about it, the more I think it's because of the in-dash changer. Thanks guys and gals!nH

Those are your 2 options.Quote, originally posted by nitehawk »Is the Aux selection then just a red-herring? or does it do something with some accessory that I am unaware of?The AUX is probably shown there because it's cheaper not to make a special button for this particular radio. The 2003 1CD and all year 6CD radios for the Vibe are missing some of the guts needed to connect to external audio sources. This is why XM has never been available with the 6CD.
