i did my own tint. it doesnt look perfect, but at the time i was too cheap to go all out. i just did both back windows on the sides....i used 2rolls (like 18$ a roll) just cut it to the window, use warm little soap with water, and a plastic thing to smooth it out. it took me like 30-45mins.

Do you have pics? I wanted to do it myself but then decided to get it done at a local tuner shop.

i did my old zx2 myself and it was perfect. but the vibe is another story, this thing doesnt seem to want to take the tint very well. the back hatch window was a pain so I took it in to a shop and let them do it for $125 all around.

It took an experianced tinter to do my vibe 2 hours.I have tinted my own windows on several vehicles and have found that it is worth it to me to have a "profesional" do it.Alot also depends on the quality of the material. Here is a good site to learn all about it.

Well worth the money to let the pro do it. Otherwise you'll spend $50 on tint, hours of your time, it will still look like crap then you'll have to tear it all off and take it to the pro anyways.

I got mine done for $50 all the way around and it looks the same today as it did 2 years ago!

In AZ your AC system works pretty good if the tint is doing its job, otherwise the windows seem to overpower it.

Search these forums - someone posted a great link to the specific state's laws as they apply to vehicle tinting. In WI I know that the driver and passenger side windows (front) can only be 50%, the rest to 35% - nothing on the windshield.
