What do you like the most

I've just noticed, that we do not have (or I can not find it) a topic about features/components/"things" we like the most about our Vibes. I would like to start with the handling (excellent road feedback. I always know what the wheels are doing), the gear shifter (standard - the best I've ever had a chance to put my hand on), good brakes (opted for ABS).

I like ALL THE ROOM. It is large enough for the family, yet small enough to not be a Road Hog. Plus I love the Gas Mileage. I have a 45 mile one way commute to work.....good gas mileage is a plus. AND---it looks real cool too!!!!!!!!!

I'll agree about the handling. I love the space and utility of the cargo area too. I like the roof rack, but have yet to find anything to carry on it since the interiror is so spacious. And I love the color (neptune blue mono) that my Vibe is. It's the one thing I've gotten most compliments about. I wouldn't be driving a Vibe if it hadn't come in this blue. It suits me.KSNeptune

It's got the most low RPM torque of any 4 cylinder I have ever owned. The room second. All the mods I plan to do 3rd.

I like the higher seating position. Very comfortable and a better view of the road.

Yo Admin! Most low down torque? Wow, I've found it's got the least of anything I've ever driven! Different experiences, I guess.I love the fact that it's a small car on the outside but HUGE inside. It's still hard to believe the amount of stuff that fits in the cargo area and the size of people that fit in the back seats!!!

I would have to say I like the exterior styling the most. It is just a cool looking car in motion or sitting still. Second I would have to say it is the amount of room along with the versatility. And third, the mods that are coming out look great! I also like all the safety features that I ordered mine with like the 4 wheel disc/anti-lock brakes and side impact air bags.

I love everything about the car, especially it's uniqueness. It turns a lot of heads...I also love my Neptune color, I always wanted a dark blue metallic car.I think most of all I like the fact that it has a Toyota engine...brand new cars (as in first years) kinda worry me, but the fact that the engine is tried and tested makes me afeel a whole lot better about it. Also, since it's a Toyota engine, a nice full line of aftermarket parts and accessories is available so I don't gotta wait for anything-except enough cash to get it all. Like a lot of people I think the room is great...it's a nice hybrid of full on SUV and a car. It's not too big and bulky, yet not too small and cramped. Having to get Premium gas is bad enough-if it was a gas guzzler, I probably would have really considered not buying it. I love the looks, I love the styling, I love the headroom, I love how nobody expects my car to scoot the way it does-hell, I even love the Vibe font for the badges! Can I marry my Vibe??!? lol

The versatility it tops in my book, bang for the buck is second. Many people don't even know what the Vibe is yet, so picture their expressions when I blow past them on the highway going 30-40 mph faster than they are or I drop 2 gears and let 'er rip! The looks and Neptune paint are a close third (almost bought a Shadow one, very sharp color also). The aftermarket potential was a strong influence too, as I like to personalize my vehicles to suit my tastes and the aftermarket was extremely limited for some of my previous cars. Interior look, room, and comfort scored high with me. Build quality is quite good also, especially for a first year model. Doors close with a solid "thunk", everything seals well, works well, and fits well. Toyota/GM have a real winner here!

There are also these little things. Like the outside temperature gauge. When I was bying my other car (Montana minivan) just few years back the option like that was available only with some "heavy duty - you do not need half of it" package. Nice touch. And increased safety! As to the interior - also great. Somehow similar to European Corolla Verso (the shifter almost identical and I thing seats are just lifted straight from Verso).

I love the dash. I also like the fold flat seats. My cavalier never folded perfectly flat. I like the spots under the cargo floor to store stuff.

You hit the wiper lever, too? I frequently hit that lever, thinking I'm doing the cruise control bit. Up goes the wiper blades!!! A pain in the (removed) that is.On the other hand... maybe we just have to get used to this wonderful vehicle.

Yeah, those buttons on my Mustang were nice and handy. The little cruise control stalk on the Vibe is always getting banged by my knee when I get in or out and sometimes when I shift around in the seat. Sometimes I look down and see the little green light on the dash lit up for "cruise". Then I'm like "doh". I'm afraid I might knock it right off because I hit it so hard sometimes. The 8-way power driver seat in the Mustang was nice too. You could tilt the front of the seat down away from the steering wheel. BTW, I hate the steering wheel height adjustment in the Vibe. Japanese style tilt does nothing for me. Guess it was meant for shorter people?

I think the cruise stalk is great; I don't have my Vibe yet, but that stalk is EXACTLY how the cruise works in my BMW (328is). It becomes very intuitive... you'll stop hitting the wipers eventually! Pete

I also like stick-on balancing weights GM/Toyota used on alloy wheels. They look very clean. I tried to persuade my tire shop to put stick-ons on my other car but they said the wheels have to be design for these weights from ground up. In fact I keep looking around and do not see too many stick-ons around. Even previous BMW 5-series did not have them on the most expensive wheels. Cool! What is next? Balancing beads on next generation Vibe?

I also like the seat height. It feels like I'm driving the old minivan like back in high school. But now it's more like a super sexy minivan! Awwww yeah!
