Power steering/Power brakes fail

I was driving down a mountain road and attempted to slant to my right due to a motorcycle passing me. I noticed my power steering failed. As I attempted to slow down, my brakes didn't work. I also noticed the low oil light turned on where my gas gauge is. I was going about 45 MPH.I drove into a ditch of rocks while pumping my brakes and applied the emergency brake for the car to stop. Somehow it did.I turned the car back on, everything worked. I've since driven it a little more w/o any problems. Any ideas ?I have a 2004 5 speed Vibe GT with 58,000 miles.

I take it the engine died and that is why the power steering and brakes failed and engine oil light came on. did you apply the brake and not disengage the clutch when the motorcycle passed?

I did pop my car into neutral before it occurred. I've often done that while driving, but I've never had the car cut out on me. Additionally, it felt like when I pumped the brakes they partially (barely) worked.

I don't have a manual trans but I have had the rpms drop around 500 at a stop sign and thought it was going to die but it didn't. probably one of thiose things that will never happen again.
