Another Continental Tire Story

Well here’s a “Bad Continental Tire:” story that turned out good. After two years and 22,500 miles, I finally had enough of these inferior tires. I had them rotated at 6000-mile intervals and kept them at the proper inflation. Finally went to the dealer and stated that something was definitely going on with these tires. It felt like I was riding on snow tires because they were cupping so badly. He checked them out and without question told me he was going to replace all four tires with Goodyear Eagles, plus a free alignment! It took two days for them to get the replacement tires but so what, they gave me a free loaner (2005 Grand Am) to play with. I’ve posted a partial copy of the invoice. Notice that the TSB#1740464 was mentioned. Hope I have better luck with the Eagles.

Good news! I will be taking mine in soon for this, hope I have the same luck... If the dealer only replaces the rears I will rotate them and bring it back again. My Contis look new and have lots of tread. However they are loud and there is some cupping on the inside edge. I have the TSB too and will bring it.
