i was just wondering if anyone got the gray cladding part painted to match the car color and if so, how much it was. i know somewhere else it was mentioned that the places wanted to actually take it off to paint it but can that be avoided? thank you...

It will cost you $800-$1400 to have just your cladding painted. It would be more work painting them on your car then taking them off and painting cause you would have to do a lot of masking to prevent overspray. And the high price is mostly for labor. Removal of all the peices, preping, treating the plastic, primer, paint and clearcoat, then reinstalling the pieces. When I get my tax return, I'm getting it done.

thats kinda high too but like you said, its mostly for labor. i guess i will put it on my to-do list. i do like the vibes much better without the gray but maybe after i do some other things i won't mind as much....thanks for the info.

wasnt there a vibe with 2 tone cladding and they put a body kit on it, so it was almost like a stripe of cladding? i think there was one and that looked cool.

that might just work out because i really really really want the body kit so having the stripe would be tolerable... thanks guys...
