Suspension Upgrade for Heavy Loads?

I started car pooling with two other people, the additional weight (approx 425#) has taken it's toll on handling and fuel mileage. Not much I can do about mileage except for acellerating at a slower rate. Is there a "heavy duty" coil spring replacement? It is difficult to describe the ride...maybe "stiff & bouncy" would be close. I have the base with original suspension componets.

I'd take it to the dealer for warranty work

Have had some very poor workmanship done to my cars over the years, especially at Toyota and GM dealers. Double whamy on this car.Just thought there might be some "overload" springs available, something like trailer towing package or springs for a slightly heavier toyota that would fit the vibe struts.

I've never heard of any heavier springs made for the Vibe platform. They'd probably be too stiff for such a light car. You may have to go with an airbag suspension if you really want it badly.
