Noted two Buick dealer ads side by side in today's paper#1 Lucerne MSRP 26,835, $1,000 disc., net $25,835#2 Lucerne Old MSRP $27,240, Sale Price $25,275Somene who was not familiar with the GM MSRP reductions might mistakenly head to dealer #2 where the advertised discount is nearly $2,000 instead of only $1,000. Also points out that the reductions in MSRP highly touted by GM may not really reduce the price to the consumer as the invoice prices may be more or less unchanged. And the auto industry wonders why it gets no respect!
