How much HP does the Vibe Have?!

Ok a while back I was told the Vibe GT has 10 HP shy of 200... Now I go to this (
http://www.pontiac.com) I was very disapointed to see a measly 164HP. What am I running here - I don't even know (removed) I have?! It's no wonder sometimes I feel like I need to get out and push - What did I get myself into!! I think these 6 months parked in the garage are getting me just over-all angry...

They never had 190HP. They were 177HP, I believe in the first years and now that has dropped to 164HP. The base was 133HP and is rated 126HP now. The AWD is 118HP.

nothing changed about the engine though just the way they measured HP

Yeah. Originally the 2003 GT advertised 180HP, then it dropped.

They redid measurements for 2005. Base is (confirming above) 126 and GT is 164.

anyone know how they measure the hp now? imo they should measure from the wheels not the crank.

All models put the same power to the wheels; it was just a voluntary change in measurement method that will soon be required for all automotive manufacturers.
