I'm considering a Vibe and the dealer can get one shipped in with my 2 main options (ABS and the power package). The other option it has is the smokers package which includes a cigarette lighter and ashtray. I'm not a smoker so don't really need this. Where exactly are these things placed? Will I still get the outlet in front next to the 115V where I can plug in my phone? If someone has a pic it'd be helpful to me. Thanks!

I have an 04 without the smoker's package. It comes with the cig lighter plug with a cap over it. Its functional. You just do not get the cig lighter and a cup holder ash tray. All you need to do to plug in your phone is pop off the cap which is on a hinge so you don't lose it. Flip it aside, plug in and your done.not a good pic but this is the best I have on hand (from my car domain page linked in my sig)

It fits in one of the cup holders in the console between the front seats. I used to use mine for spare change, can't remember where it is right now, took it out of the car to clean, and it never made it back in. Maybe there's a pile of lost loose change hiding in my house somewhere

If you look closely at the pic I posted, you will see my capped cig lighter plug right below the far left HVAC dial.

In turn, that cigarette socket, made to fit a cigarette lighter, was sometimes too deep to fit an accessory like a cell phone charger properly. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

mine works fine with my phone charger.
