i jsut got a call from sport compact pro. they are offering me a 12k 55%parts and labor sponsor ship. that is if i can make 4 shows (events) in one year. i told him i'd call back. they want a 79$ activating fee.first thing they offered was STICKERS... what do you guys think??

Don't do it!!! I was sponsored by them last year and I didn't even buy a thing. They don't really have anything for our cars. I strongly suggest that you don't do this.

well, i didn't.i'm a very skeptical guy, so i had many a doubt.

ya, i did the car sponsorship thing too, ended up with only stickers. however, right now, that sponsorship would have come in handy! lol. but i've got a local co here in town that does my work for just above cost, so i suppose it's like being sponsored?

I have the same sponsorship from them. Only problem is that you can't get a hold of anyone and thier distributors are also hard to get in touch with.Good luck!Oh! I almost forgot. They scammed me out of a $80 'donation' for the survivors of street racing fatalilities or some BS like that.
