painting over these??

I've got 4 back up sensors on my unpainted bumper. they work great, but it can be a sore to look at all the time seeing how they stand out.does anybody know if they can be painted over? i'm thinking a flat gunmetal spray.

hmmm id be interested to know too. my dads are colored to his escape. they are plastic right?

yeah, they are plastic.i've seen different painting designs. some on just the outer ring, some the entire surface. i don't know about the aftermarket one's.

Considering they work on ultrasonics.. I don't know how well they'd react to the paint. The outer ring? Sure, the inner? Don't think it'd be a great idea. Maybe using model paints..but I can't say for sure.
