Part number for 6 speaker (tweeter) sail panel?

Anybody have the GM part number for the sail panel with the grill in it for the factory 6-speaker system? My car is coming with the standard 4-speaker setup, and I'd like to install some JL Audio components in the doors and retain the factory look (hide my tweeter behind the factory tweeter grille that I don't currently have). Thanks for help anybody can give!Pete

I cant help you with the part number, but nice choice in speakers. Just stop by your dealers parts department and ask. They should only be around $15 a piece, and they may need your VIN #.

I gotta say I'm confused as to why people ask for the part numbers when you still need to go to the dealership to find out pricing and then order if you chose to do so. It seems as though it is just a waste to ask here.

Does anyone know how much work is it to add tweeters to existing 4 speaker factory system?

I need to know how difficult it would be to ADD them to current 4 speaker setup...the 4 speaker is pretty weak on the highs....

The OEM ones have a blocking cap on them, so you just wire them in parallel to the stock front speakers. Other tweets may have a true crossover to wire in or just use blocking capacitors like the OEM ones. The blocking caps are just to prevent the lower frequencies from getting to the tweeters and damaging them. The "built in" operating frequency of the tweets take care of the rest-thats why you can usually get by with just a blocking cap and not a full blown crossover.

Do you know what the impedance is for the tweeter?
