New Freedom Design Strut Tower Bar Installed

It finally arrived! And I installed it in half an hour. Look's Very nice with the Injen CAI and oil cap. It was originally made for the Matrix, but it does fit. Although not as tight as I'd like it to. See my post in the 'Do it yourself' forum for details.

Looks good! Have you had enough time to drive around to see if it has made any difference in handling?

I did drive it around last night and a little today, it does feel a little different but I'm not sure just how, though. I guess you could say it is stiffer on sharper turns, like on an on/off ramp. I'll need to drive it some more, I'll get back to ya.

I didn't like the look and style of the TRD strut bar at all. The FD one matches the Injen CAI much better than anything else I have seen.I ordered it before X-mas, the day they were available from Performance Tuning for $89.00 with FREE shipping. It was originally gonna be priced at $130.00.

I hate to says this but you can get the same one from ptuning.com for 5% less if you use the link from matrixvibe.net. My total for the strut bar was only 84 bucks. That is another great site for info for tuners.
