Steering Wheel Click

When driving the car and making a turn and returning to center, we get a click, or knock. It doesn't always do it. But it bothers me. Anyone ever hear this? It goes into the shop this Friday.

haven't noticed it on the Vibe, but on some cars I've had there was a noticeable click when some tab inside the steering wheel goes to automatically kick off the turn signal. Assuming that is not what you are hearing, I'm not sure what it could be. I'll turn my radio down and see if I hear anything in mine.EDIT - nope, no sounds from mine when/after turning

My Vibe had done this (or similar noise) during the first year or so of ownership, but it seemed to be dependent on temperature. I haven't heard the noise for over a year now that I think of it.I tried to look around but couldn't figure out the source. I never took it into the shop. Let us know if they find something.

I get the same thing and it seems to be getting worse as time goes by. Right when it returns to center, you can hear and feel a bit of a "snap" coming from inside the steering wheel. Especially when it is cold...I also have had an intermittent squeak that appears when the wheel returns to center, but that doesn't happen to much anymore for some reason.I'm still thinking the clock spring is what is causing the issue in mine, but I have yet to get it looked at. I'll do that when the air bag light comes on, the cruise stops working, or the horn no longer functions. Here are a couple threads from previous issues that sound similar to yours:

Ok, I've got a problem with the clicking, it's not temperature related. Has anyone taken the vibe to the dealer and gotten this fixed?
