Ah yes, January 2 and a tornado hits. I recall a similar event in 2000 out in Western Kentucky, that anniversary is tomorrow I believe.Elizabethtown, KY got nailed this time... Hit close to a school, took out a gas station, did some damage to a manufactured home dealer, etc... It hit 67 degrees in Louisville this morning... Chance of snow on Friday. Crazy stuff.

Crazyness! That's what happens when it nearly hits 70 and a few days on either side of it call for snow.

Cincinnati had a record high temperature today...beat the one set in the 1960s...and now it's going to snow again...bah.

Same deal with Louisville, the 67 degree temp beat the previous record of, uh 67 which was set back in 1897.

I read the title and thought to myself. "At least they were well lubed."But seriously, I checked the weather channel yesterday to find out (removed) is with the weather and not only was it mild and raining here, but like you said, tornadoes, and there is another tropical storm.Stuff Magazine was right voting Mother Nature the biggest media (removed) in 2005. Looks like she is going for 2006 as well.

We're fine. The 3 car dealerships that were destroyed are about 14 miles from my house. One of the houses that I looked at last weekend was destroyed in the storm, or so I was told, they wouldn't let us back in the area at all. The community college that many or our techs go for training classes was hit hard as well. I've seen bad twsiters before, but this one was off the scale...$500K~$1M homes are now piles of matchsticks....horrible...
