I am loving this. So far I haven't had to pay hardly anything to Mod my Vibe. The "Free" Fairy has struck again. I stopped by a local sign shop that makes Vinal graphics and etc hoping to see some catalogs of merchandise available for purchase. It turns out that all they do is advertising graphics. I was looking for some decals/graphics I could put on my vibe...flames, tribal or whatever, but I was SOL on that account. I was talking with this guy for a while explaining what I wanted and then I asked him if he sells any plain Vinal material. I explained to him that I wanted to make some eyelids for my vibe and even showed him the car. He finally got the idea of what I was looking for and told me that he could help me out. He brought out a small 1" sample piece of red vinal and matched it up to my car...nearly a perfect match! Then I followed him back inside the shop and he started showing me pin-stripes that another division of his company makes. NOT what I wanted. I asked him if he sells sheets of Vinal and he was like "Ohhhh...okay, so you want to cut it out and install it yourself?" I was about to name him the biggest idiot of the year when he came out with a nearly empty 36" roll of the same Red Vinal. It looked to be about a 24" X 36" piece of adhesive backed vinal dangling from the tube. I asked him how much he wanted for it and he turned to someone else and asked them how much...and this guy shrugged his shoulders and said "Just give it to him." I was shocked and am eternally thankful! I was able to take it home cut out the desired shape for my Eyelids and I still have enough to make a few stickers out of it!So here are a couple pics of my new custom made eyelids and one of my new antenna ball (Jack Skelington-from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas').

Excellent job, really looks great. My I make a suggestion regarding your painted grille and that is to paint the A/C condenser flat black so that it disappears from sight behind the grille. I painted my grille also and noticed first thing the silver/gray components behind the grille. I used flat black very lightly and it all disappeared. Just a thought and again, really nice job.

yes I created a patern a while back and after getting ahold of the vinal I was finally able to use it. It turned out quite nice but not quite as I planned.
