Mods for 2006

Alright guys, 2005 is almost gone. That year for me was quite "important" because I got the Trix in august (no Trix, no Genvibe and no MO). Basically I invested in coilovers and a nice set of lightweight rims. Those two things were my main expenses for 2005.Now that 2006 is almost here, what are your planned mods for the year? Mine: Hass turbo kit.

Can't wait to see what you get out of your "dual" set-up Called once for a custom header and was quoted about 900$ can... A little too much for a few hp. Do you have any guesstimate for you in the US?

I was quoted $300-$400. But I think I will be able to get it down a little lower because I will be supplying the header flange and and exhaust/downpipe flange that I found on this site: http://www.ppeengineering.com/DIYSexhaust.htmI'm also considering a Throttle Body bore from http://www.maxbore.com as well. We'll see.

Are you going to have your intake manifold done at the same time? Too bad dyno time is so expensive or we could have had the "before and after" whp of those two mods together...Keep us informed of your "(removed) dyno" experience.

The intake manifold I will have done when I have the exhaust header made.

I was thinking maybe a Magnaflow system......already did most of my mods. I would like to add a DVD system in the car for my son though

I just put on a Magnaflow exhaust, red Cosmo CAI, dual red Fiamm horns, carbon fiber sill decals, Vibe decals over airbag warnings, red engine cover letter overlays, metallic black badge overlays, custom inside brake light decal "Raven", stubby antenna and I have 17" Motegi DP-5 rims in Gunmetal and Falken FK451 225/45/17 tires ready for spring. For 2006, all I need is a Progress sway bar and Tein S-Tech or SS Coilovers, if I can afford them.

You're going to love the Tein SS coilover if you get them. Lower them in spring, raise them in fall, best of both world.

Finally, I won't do any mods for my Vibe for 2006, because I bought a 2000 Toyota Echo to replace my old 1994 Geo Metro.

Anywhere!!! Usually with those things, there is always somebody coming through with a place and this time it was Sam. I don't mind going to MTL if you have a few mods to install (or anybody else for that matter).Nice looking hood there on Ebay. The guy seems to have a few for sale and accept local pick up too (MTL). Good deal.
