umm.. it's crazy late, so mond the speel errors. there is a aux adapter for the moons and tunes radio. if i rememebr correctly, the adapter is only good for 04 and up models. so an 03... out of luck. rty the search engine here. look for aux.i also beleive there is a transmiter taht goes in line with the antenna. it doesn't use a fm modulator. sound is better than over airways. if you want crystal clear sound from the ipod, than an aftermarket radio is needed. one with aux inputs.again try the search and look for ipod. alot of those topics have come by recently.

Actually the one in line with the antenna is still an FM modulator; it just sends its signal directly to the antenna so the sound is clear with no interference.

The only options for 2003 1CD, or any year 6CD, is a transmitter or modulator. Some people have gotten good quality audio from a decent modulator (like Kari).Aftermarket HU's can be gotten to work well with the factory amp. A line level converter is often needed. Search around for some posts on the topic.
