keep the xbox and PS2 stacked in a way that they can breath (will overheat otherwise) Now you can buy an SP2 stand and turn it sideways and slip it in beside a stack of VCR and DVD unit. Xbox is hard to stack because of how its designed. The reciever, how big is it? Use it at the bottom if its the biggest. I try not to stack more then three units high.

also be sure to stack the game consoles in such a way that when you get excited and pull too hard on the controller cable, it doesn't topple the whole stack.

the key is air flow...what ever gets the warmest when on then that needs to go higher...the more free flowing air the better off you will be!!

I have all my components in a single fairly contained cabinet. So I bought a generic 8" fan and hung it behind the components. It's plugged into the switched outlet on the back of the receiver. Now when the components are on the fan is blowing air accross them.

I took an old computer cooling fan and wired it up to come on and off with the one component... Works great!
