saw it, liked it. But not great for little kids. I saw one kid who was crying after the movie. I think it was probably a little scary, and then very sad.

Awsome movie but yes not for kids... it can be really frightening for them with some of the natives... the large creepy crawlies and then ol King Kong himself.

I saw it this weekend. Fantastic flick. Easily one of the best I have seen this year. Lots of great action, all though some of it is a little hard to swallow at times. Like the fact that Naomi Watts some how not breaking her neck when she is in Kong's grasp.

LOL yeah like when he is sitting there and just swinging her back and forth. But I guess her neck not breaking is just as easy to believe as the giant ape holding her right? I wanna try the King Kong game now lol.

it depends on how little you cuz is, under 13 NO, I would not take him. as said before, the native are really scary as are the bugs.:: SPOILER WARNING ::on the flip side, some of the scenes with Kong and Naomi are fantastic, such as the Vaudville scene on the cliff and the frozen pond slide. There are times when I wasn't sure I wasn't actually seeing a real ape, it is that good.

it was good but i could edit about an hour out (mostly from the begining) and have a much better film I think jackson was tying to squeeze too much into it. hes used to making those long lotr movies. This is supposed to be an action film more then a drama. i would say stick to 2 plotlines the jack black movie line and the kong girl line the girl trying to make it big line could be cut and the film doesnt lose much. also i wish they would have just trained watts to juggle instead of cgi i mean it seemed like they spent like 5 min doing the computer work on that. hmm they must have used all their computing power on kong and the animals.

Well the first half is needed. It gives everyone a good impression of the characters and their personalities. For example... the girl. She does comedy shows... which if you never knew that... you would wonder why the hell is she juggling rocks to entertain the big ol ape? Every bit of footage in that movie was important I feel. Even though Kong was killing people, I still was cheering for him. "Yeah, knock down that plane! That will teach them!"
