anyone seen the movie 'the island?' which takes place in the 'near future?' just picked it up on dvd, and about halfway through the movie, where the two stars are being chased through the city by futuristic 300Ms and hummers and other cars, the armored survellance vehicle that's chasing them cuts off and rams into a pontiac vibe. i had to watch it in slow motion...i knew i recognized the 03-04 front end, and there it is, clear as day, an unmodded platinum vibeby the way, its a cool movie. alot of actiona and special effects

yeah when the movie first came out on the bigscreen... someone mentioned there was a Vibe in there. I haven't seen the movie yet.

doh...must have missed that thread.anwyays, check it out, mav, good action movie. alot of fun.

Thinking of buying it and watching it on the plane ride during christmas.

Yes it is a great action movie. It starts a little slow, but it picks up after 30 minutes or so.Oh Ramenboy! Actually they have 300c's in the movie not 300m's I'm just a smartass

Does it crash into a pole or something? If so, you can see it on the trailer on http://www.theisland-themovie.com/. Looks interesting, I might have to check that one out.

I watched it last nite. good movie, action packed!! the Highway scene with the axles was fantastic. good story line, fiction? never know what the future holds.

Awesome movie, saw it in the theaters, bought it but haven't watched it yet. Have to look for the Vibe!

Watch for the '03-'04 charcoal vibe, about 15 seconds after the police car gets split in 1/2.As far as the movie goes, I thought it was pretty good.
