The new Buick Lucerne has a similar system standard - heats up the fluid to 140 F.

I noticed that the Buick Lacene has its wiper fluid heated up to 140 degrees (per the commercial), so i would guess its not a problem.

Save 50$ and scrape your windows Are you going to buy it Paul? I wonder how "easy" the install is....

I'm thinging to buy.Imagine the time you spend that the windshield clean.You pollute more and spend more gas.If this can reduce the time to clean the ice on the windshield.

looks like a good idea but i park in the garage for now so i will save the cash.

it may be hot at the little box but I'd venture to say it doesn't get warm enough quick enough to keep the hose fluid warm especially at the nozzles. the buick probably has less problems because if the 140 degree temp and I'd guess the hose would be warmed also.

I remember a couple years back when those first came out, the big sell point was that the bottle and lines would not freeze. I'd not want one... get a stone chip, window is cold, spray on some cold water and watch the crack grow lol.
