mine has never made that sound!

Neither has either one of mine.

Oh my! I hate the way these engines twitch and shake like a crackhead at idle, far from a smooth, steady idle... Mine never idles consistently, never has, never will - but it doesn't do that... If it did, the piece of junk would end up throwing a rod. Not normal. Keep up the good fight against the powers that be.

and its not throwing a code? wow I'd drop that off at the dealer and have them start it in the A.M. that isn't right.

will have to listen to it when I get home. Don't have speakers at work.

And that I fear will take many years, if ever.

Not to side rack the forum but Colonel Panic is that 67000 miles on your car in 3 years???

My car does not and has not ever done this. If so I would have put a bullet in it! Man, how annoying! I would have to suspect the IAC or injectors...
