Injen CAI question for those that have one

Here is my situation, and I would greatly appreciate feedback about what my needs are.I do not race my Vibe. I don't care how it performs at a track. I think it is woefully underpowered, and I would love to add a little pickup from going say 0-45, or from 35-65. Hell, even being able not to lose speed going uphill with the a/c on would be nice So with all that said, does CAI help? Do you notice the extra few hp gains in everyday traffic? I love the idea of it but I also want to be realistic about increased performance. If it matters I have a '03 base Vibe with auto transmission.Thanks.

In all reality the main benefit of my CAI is that it drowns out my wifes voice in the car.

Good one Iinen! I have an Injen CAI on my 04 Base. While it is definetly not a asphalt burning car, with the CAI at least I now have that bit of power needed to get out of my own way. I don't think you'll have any regrets.

Yeah, intake and exhaust and you'll be happy. I had the xhaust first, but I still noticed and change after the Injen CAI I have. It does sound awesome too!

though not a real noticable modification other then the sound on normal driving, the CAI does help when you need it. Accelloration is better/quicker and I found at least from my experience, driving up hills was easier to, the car just pulled along nicely.Of course the little draw back is that you'll enjoy that sweet CAI sound, you'll be driving with the revs up a little higher and may suffer a little less then normal fuel mileage. I do and I know I'm not the only one.

I would say get one. There is a difference in the acceleration, not much but it is noticeable. I love mine and wouldn't take it off unless I had to. I just love the sound!

Yes, I do pick on fokes from time to time but for the most part gust drive.
