Hey everyone I am new to the board and was so glad I found it!! I recently(July) bought a 2005 Pontiac Vibe. I love my car. Unfortunately this past Friday a stray dog stepped out in front of my car and cracked the front bumper, cracked the fog light and knocked out part of the grill !! All this and I was doing 30-40, glad I wasn't going any faster. Well my baby is in the shop and I was informed she would be ready by Friday. Yay!! I never thought i would miss my car so much until I had to drive my Mom's Camry which is nice but sits way to low compared to the Vibe. Anyway glad to be here and can't wait to get to know you all. hopefully when they tell you friday you'll get it friday. i was told 1.5 to 2 weeks when a deer took out the left side of my G6...here i am 4 weeks and a day later and i still am waiting for my car back.

Oh that totally bites!! Well my insurance filed, processed and got the estimate to me today. I really wanted one of their other body shops to do the job but it was booked solid. This particular body shop repaired my former Saturn back in May after some idiot broke into it and the repairs were great. It looks like I'm having bad luck with cars this year. Never have I had to fix 2 cars in one year or even less one car in one year. I had that Saturn for 4 years and then I go to a big city with some crime and it gets broke into, amp & sub stolen and door busted. i was sick!! Left the XM behind though, must have got spooked? My apartment was broken into and they took the camera off of the top of my computer, along with the software, but left the computer (which was worth a lot more than the camera). The funny part of that is the fact you needed a computer to use the camera - it was a web cam, not a digital camera. I would bet a bunch of $$$ they thought it was a digital camera. The police were telling me while they were writing up my report that the criminals in Memphis aren't that bright and will overlook the expensive items not knowing what they are - go figure!?!?!Anyhow, welcome and sorry to hear about your car. If you see a 2003 black Vibe with Shelby county plates, honk, that may be me!!! I come to your fair city about every six months to go to Petsmart and Dunkin Donuts (we don't have either place in Memphis).

Oh my God that is too funny!! It was memphis on American Way. Stupid me didn't think to ask anyone if I was gonna be in a shady part of town. Now i know. Next time you come to jackson to get Dunkin' Donuts(I love them too) holla at me and we can meet if you don't think that's to strange. You never can be too careful when meeting people online. (removed), I lived in Jackson about 15 yrs ago....is the Dunkin Donuts still in the same place? I was down there a while back, and couldn't believe how much the whole town has changed.....

yep Dunkin Donuts formerly Mr. Donut is still in the same place on Old Hickory as long as I can remember. Jackson has grown alot since I was a kid and Vann Drive is the place to have business, it didn't even exist like 15 years ago or so but they built that super Wal-Mart and it got busy after that.
