These guys have a great police car! The pic looks like it was taken on Woodward during the Woodward Dream Cruise. Every summer in Michigan for those that do not know...I have not seen this car but I will be watching for it now!

but a vibe could fit in a tighter space, like a super duper small alley OR in the back of a semi truck and escape!!

Perhaps confiscated from a drug dealer or pimp!

people with hood scopes should have that red led light bar that the lights go back and forth...

The only way a vibe could get away from this patrol car is with a rear mounted MG... other than that - more power to this department. I would almost bet it was confiscated in a drug bust or purchased with a grant that was dropped off from the Homeland Security money wagon. There's a Caddilac Escalade in a county east of my home town. Its lightbars look a bit out of place... but it's got gold bling on it and vinal that says something to the effect of "thanks to drug dealers I get leather seats in my patrol car"I need to go find that and snap a photo.

Alot of police have cars like this-most of the time they are unmarked--I have seen numerous Camaros with light bars and some with police badging. Windsor used to have a Dodge Dakota R/T and a Camaro SS. And the other regular cruisers they have like Impalas, Crown Vics, etc are far from factory power-believe me I used to work in a GM factory that made some of these beasts!!!!!!!!!!

So do you think the officers fight over who's going to get to drive it each day?

If the truth be known, the same person probably drives it every day...LOL. I know that's how it worked in Kingsport. They had several nice Mustangs, granted, nothing like a Corvette, but still way nicer than a Crown Vic, and they were each assigned to an officer just like a normal cruiser was.

The county D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) officer has an '05 Magnum with the Hemi. It's painted with airbrushed flames and has the traditional lightbar. That's what you call 'hot pursuit'! She has just the garden variety 5.7L Hemi though, not the SRT-8 model... I'll try to post a pic when I see her car again.

Close now, but as soon as I go with the Procharger it would not even be a race. I am going to have to wait on the Procharger for a while(it is about 5500$). I can dream cant I!

We have one like that in CT, but it has the big OEM Chrome wheels and is black on black with no lights except in the grille, very stealth. They also have a black on black Camaro. We call it the 95 Knight Rider, cause it picks people flying by, pulls up to them, lets them take off then pulls them over, lol.The West Haven Police in the town next to me have some pimped imports they use for drug busting. And out State Troopers have nothing on their brown crown vics except a badge plate on the back and they use the Blade lights so they are hard to see now. Oh, and they also have a Ford Expedition, silver no markings. A Buick century, green, no markings.

Yea troopers are driving dodges here now too. I got pulled over by a Silver Magnum monday for a stupid random license check.
