1st there was Saturday, when Vandy beat UT (aka University of TN-Knoxville) for the 1st time in many, many years....not only was that cool, but it also knocks UT out of bowl contention this year. No, I know you are wondering why I hate UT so much....well, everyone I work with are RABID UT fans.... our office manager came in and hung all this UT crap in her office when she was 1st hired, and I was like GROSS another one??? She said well Richard, if you don't like UT, who do you like??? I smiled and said, who are they playing this week? 2nd, TONY STEWART is 2005 Nextel Cup champion!! and JJ fell to 5th!! hahahahahaKurt Busch did fall to last in the chaser points, and will have to attend the banquet with that fact in his face.... I really hope he uses the off season to pull himself down to earth, and straightens up his act.

I heard on NBC today that Kurt Busch must deliver a 'Roush-prepared' speech at the NASCAR banquet in NYC! That must be the ultimate insult for Kurt - letting some PR hack from your former team put all the words in your mouth!

I'm a huge Florida Gators fan so needless to say I couldn't be more happy to see Vany kick UT's butts on Saturday. As for Nascar-I was quite upset that my Lowes boy wrecked. I knew Tony was going to win since he's been so strong. I just hate it for Chad and the team that they went out with a wimper and not a bang. I can't believe the season is over. In about a week or so I'll be going through some serious withdrawls. I live less than 2 hours from Daytona so come January 9th when they start testing I'll be there!!!

It would have been better if Fresno St. had pulled off the upset over USC. I'm rootin' for the Longhorns (The "Real" UT).

hell yah zuben that would have be awesome but i have this feeling that it's going to come down to a great bowl game between UT and USC. .. but i would like it if USC lost so Vince Young gets the Heismann. i know it's not dependent on losses but it does affect the way people vote.

I'm still hopin' that UCLA will get crazy go nuts all over USC this weekend..You know I'm gonna be watchin'.

i was really hopin for edwards to pull it off but for Bush it was his own mistake and he should pay up. and did you hear what happened after the race? two helicopters crashed after taking off from the track 1 piloit was seriously enjured.

I am surrounded by Nascar fans where I work and get the blow-by-blow details after every race. My point this morning was - why watch it when I have you all? I wish you could have seen the looks I got, they were priceless. And, most of the people I work with would agree with your assessment of UT - several are LSU, I'm Clemson, some are Vandies, others are Ohio. We do have some UT fans, but they are the silent majority.As for the copter crash, that was really sad.
