does anyone experience a loose gas fill...I find when getting gas (which is pleasantly infrequent!) that the gas spout wiggles...had not experienced this with other cars...thanks

It's the same on all Vibes. There is rubber around the filler hole/tube area that causes it to be flexible. I've seen other vehicles with the same setup.
