Can you use the outlet in the arm rest while the car is off. It seems not to be on when the car is off. My Tracker has that capability so I can charge my cell phone and carge batteries in secret. It would be great if it did. Thanks for any response.

It is built that way to prevent discharging completly your batterie. This power outlet can take 10 amp @ 12v, which can drain your batterie very easely.

It is always possible to re-wire the oscillator under the driver seat. Instead of taking the 12v from the ignition, take it directly from the battery.

Best way to find out is to take it to a custom place, show them what you want, and ask for an estimate...it all depends on where it all ties together. Could just be a simple rewiring under the dash, or could be running all new wires.
