look at the member list, descending by last post date, and so far almost 350 different members have posted here at genvibe during the month of November.and yet, during the same period, only 35 people have voted in this poll! What's up with that? Do people just suck? Come on folks, there are great cars to choose from, and it's a close race. Stand up and be counted. Tell the world what you think. You bothered to sign up here, so participate!

I never understood why there were so many members posting throughout the month yet so few votes for VOTM. Even if I was a mystery member, that would be the one thing I WOULD do, no one even sees you there and you don't even have to say anything.

I always vote because I like voting for friends who have nice cars, but there may be a lot of people on the site who simply aren't interested in the VOTM contest or voting in it. Actually it looks like there probably are. VOTM has always gotten few votes ever since it started, which does seem odd given the volume of votes one can amass in another type of poll in the same time period. So I guess it just means a lot of people either aren't interested or they aren't "Active Topics" surfers and don't ever enter the VOTM forum so they don't see the post.

So do you guys want me to stop this? Let me know....

If you try to prevent VOTM from continuing we will have an uprising and do it ourselves. I was just ranting about the thirty seven hundred registered members who haven't voted yet. was trying to get more participation, not less.

Maybe making it quarterly would be easier, and maybe making it a constant sticky at the top of the active topics might help it get more attention. I don't know, any other suggestions? Man, this was tough, I really didn't know who to vote for. I finally just had to pick someone, but this is a tough one again!
